Abstract
The baptism and burial entries here published are contained in the first volume of the parish registers of St. Mary's in Banbury. Included in the parish were the hamlets of Calthorpe, Easington, Hardwick, Neithrop and Wickham in oxfordshire; Grimsbury, Huscote and Nethercote, and Spital Farm in Northamptonshire. Overthorpe, technically in the parish of Middleton Cheney and Warkworth, a parish in its own right, also figure frequently in the registers.
