Abstract
This volume completes the publication of pre-General Registration parish registers for Banbury.
The baptism and burial entries here published are contained in four volumes of the parish registers of St. Mary's in Banbury. Included in the original parish were the hamlets of Calthorpe, Easington, Hardwick, Neithrop and Wickham in oxfordshire; Grimsbury, Huscote and Nethercote, and Spital Farm in Northamptonshire. Overthorpe, technically in the parish of Middleton Cheney and Warkworth, a parish in its own right, also figure frequently in the registers.
