Abstract
An undergraduate dissertation looking at the past, present and future of Britain's canals, focussing on a stretch of the southern oxford Canal from Fenny Compton to Aynho. It was based on a survey of boaters and canal-side businesses in 2003. The results showd a lack of moorings, services and facilities for boaters.
