Abstract
This report provides a preliminary statement on the results of a programme of archaeological investigations undertaken by Birmingham University Field Archaeology Unit on areas affected by the Banbury town centre redevelopment. The work was undertaken between 1989 and 1999 and was based on an archaeological project design prepared by Ferris and Litherland in 1989 [see accession no. 834 at OX Banbury 902.3 FER].
