Abstract
The following pages have been transcribed from several manuscript volumes, which contain notes on most of the Oxfordshire parishes. They relate mainly to the churches, including descriptions of inscriptions. The earlier collections are the work of Anthony à Wood (1632-1695), antiquary and historian of the University. Richard Rawlinson (1690-1755) arranged much material in continuation of Wood's collections.
